| Welcome to the Sonia & The Situation home page. Great variety band that does a little of this...and a little of that..... Classic Rock, Blues, Oldies, R&B, Funk, etc.....Anything fun with a happenin' groove. Some of the band's influences include blues greats such as Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Elmore James, Mickey Champion and classic rock icons like Zepplin, The Stones, Eric Clapton (in his many formations:), Heart, Janis Joplin, etc.... The band loves the music first and formost. The magic the music has the power to create and the good times to be had by all!!! UPDATE 8/26/08: New Sound Clips are up from the last Friday Night Jam @ The Elks on 8-15-08. Each clip is a montage of songs from everyone's set(s) that night.
